10.4 Inch 800x600 TFT LCD Module 4:3 Industrial Anti-Glare - VXTA40CAH-01
The VXTA40CAH-01 is a 10.4-inch TFT in 4:3 — the format industrial and medical equipment has been built around for twenty years. Its active area of 211.2 x 158.4 mm is the standard 10.4-inch size, so it drops into a cutout originally cut for a panel of this class, and legacy software written for 800x600 does not letterbox. It is bright at 650 cd/m² typical with a 520 minimum, uses an anti-glare polarizer for factory lighting, and ships without touch so it pairs directly with our 10.4-inch capacitive touch panel. The documentation is also unusually complete: ten reliability test items each citing its IEC and GB standard, a 50,000-hour MTBF, and inspection criteria given in millimetres. 24-bit RGB on 60 pins, -20 to +70°C.

4:3, and Why That Is the Point
Nearly every panel made now is wide. This one is not, and for a large group of buyers that is the entire reason to choose it.
An industrial HMI is mostly a form, a list of readings, an alarm stack or a set of parameters — content that wants height, not width. A 16:9 panel of the same diagonal gives you less of what those interfaces use and more of what they do not.
Bright, with an Anti-Glare Surface
The top polarizer is anti-glare. In a factory with overhead lighting, or a room with windows, an untreated surface reflects the light source back at the operator and the reflection sits on top of the image. An anti-glare surface breaks that specular reflection into diffuse scatter, so it stops being a mirror. It is the right surface for this application, and worth confirming with us if you plan to add a cover lens — bonding can change the optical stack.
