4.3 Inch 480x272 TFT LCD Module Wide Temperature -30 to 85C - VXT430HNS-01-W
The VXT430HNS-01-W is a 4.3-inch transmissive TFT module with 480 x 272 resolution, an anti-glare polarizer, and an operating range of -30 to +85°C, without touch. Its most useful property only appears when you compare it with a sibling: it shares the mechanical envelope, connector and pin-out of the VXT430HWE-03-W, which is the same module at 800 x 480 — same outline, same 40-pin assignment, same contrast and viewing angle — with one third the frame buffer at 255 KB. That makes resolution a choice you can defer rather than a decision that locks your mechanics. Pixels are exactly square at 0.198 x 0.198 mm, so circles, dials and round indicators need no artwork correction. Brightness is given as 440 minimum, 550 typical and 660 maximum, with contrast at 640 minimum and 800 typical. Reliability covers ten tests including vibration and 60 G shock, with MTBF of 50,000 hours. Two gaps are stated plainly: logic supply current is not published, and storage temperature is not wider than operating.

Temperature: -30 to +85°C
The operating range is -30 to +85°C, among the widest of any 4.3-inch module we offer. The useful consequence is hardware you do not have to add: +85°C often removes the need for a fan or vent in a sealed enclosure in a hot climate, and -30°C often removes the need for a heater in cold-climate or unheated installations. Both are parts that cost money, draw power, and eventually fail.
The reliability programme tests at those limits rather than short of them — 240 hours at +85°C operation and +85°C storage, 240 hours at -30°C operation and -30°C storage.
Storage is not wider than operating, and you should know that
Storage is -30 to +85°C — the same as the operating range, not wider. Most well-formed specifications give storage a wider span at both ends, because a powered-off module tolerates more than a running one. Our 800 × 480 sibling, for instance, is rated to -40°C storage.
If your product ships or is warehoused below -30°C, check this before committing — that is exactly the case the wider figure covers. We flag it rather than presenting the two ranges as equivalent.
