This Victronix 1.3 inch 240x240 TFT Module is a high-quality 1.3 inch diagonal active area (23.4 mm × 23.4 mm) with 240×240 RGB resolution and a fine pixel pitch of 0.0975mm, delivering crisp visuals in a space-efficient footprint (26.16 mm × 29.13 mm × 2.30 mm).

The VXT350QHI-26C is a 3.5-inch 320 x 480 portrait TFT LCD module with a capacitive touch panel, driven by ILI9488, and what sets it apart is that three interface families sit on one 50-pin FPC - 24-bit RGB, MCU parallel in 8, 9, 16, 18 or 24-bit form, and SPI - selected by three IM strap pins. The touch is a mutual-capacitance sensor on its own separate 20-pin FPC carrying seven TX and five RX lines. An active area of 48.96 x 73.44 mm whose 2:3 aspect matches the dot matrix precisely, and a diagonal of 88.265 mm, or 3.4750 inches. Contrast is 700 typical, all four viewing angles are 80 degrees with an ALL viewing direction so the module mounts any way round, uniformity carries a floor of 75 per cent, NTSC is 69 typical, and all eight CIE coordinates are published. The backlight is six LEDs in parallel at 120 mA with a forward voltage from 2.7 to 3.3 V, so a 3.3 V rail leaves no headroom and the current is high for a parallel array.

The VXT430PNO-01 is a 4.3-inch TFT LCD module at 480 x 272, The specification states the recommended viewing direction as ALL and names the technology as MVA, gives 80 degrees in all four directions, and leaves the grey-scale inversion direction blank - three consistent signals that mean there is no wrong way to mount it. On a TN panel a preferred direction and an inversion direction are stated, and a unit mounted where the operator looks up at it can land on the wrong side; here that decision disappears. The frame buffer is 255 KB, small enough that a microcontroller with 512 KB of internal SRAM needs no external RAM at all. Luminance is 280 minimum against 350 typical and 420 maximum, so there is a floor to hold us to and a ceiling that shows the spread. The backlight is twelve LEDs in six series strings of two, at 19.2 V and 40 mA drawing 0.768 W, with 30,000 hours minimum life. Reliability runs nine tests at 240 hours including vibration, ESD and an MTBF of 50,000 hours. Two cautions.

The VXT500BKI-01F is a 5.0-inch TFT LCD module with 720 x 1280 pixels in portrait - HD resolution on a five-inch panel, and one of the highest pixel densities in our range. The pixels are square: 0.08625 mm on both axes, which is exactly what 62.1 mm over 720 pixels and 110.4 mm over 1280 pixels both give, and the shape is an exact 16:9 turned on its side. Brightness is 680 cd/m2 minimum against 850 typical, contrast 1000:1 minimum, and viewing angle 70 degrees minimum in all four directions with no preferred orientation, so how you mount it is a mechanical decision rather than an optical one. Touch is five-point capacitive in a G+G stack rated at 6H and 85% transparency, on its own 7-pin I2C connector. The display runs four MIPI lanes from a single 2.8 V rail, and both the logic current and the backlight power are published, so the total draw can be worked out at roughly 0.93 W.

The VXT500TWH-01 is a 5.0-inch TFT LCD module with 800 x 480 pixels in a landscape 5:3 shape, luminance has a stated minimum of 180 against 250 typical, uniformity a minimum of 75%, and the viewing angle a floor in every direction.The interface is a plain 24-bit parallel RGB on a 40-pin FPC from a single 3.3 V rail, which a microcontroller with an LCD controller drives directly, and the frame buffer is a manageable 750 KB at RGB565.

The VXT350FPQI-01 is a transflective, sunlight readable 3.5-inch TFT module for equipment that moves between indoor and outdoor light. Outdoors it reads by reflected light, and the backlight can be switched off entirely rather than merely dimmed, removing the largest load in the module. It is the third transflective panel in our range and the only one you can drive over a 3-wire SPI from an ordinary microcontroller — 240x320 portrait, square pixels, ILI9341V, 0.384 W backlight. Rated -20 to +70°C with ±8 kV air ESD.
