This 3.9-inch 480x128 TFT module is a bar display — a 3.75:1 stretched panel, the only one of its shape in our range — and the brightest module we make at 1000 cd/m² typical. A narrow strip suits a line of text, a row of readouts or a status bar, and 1000 cd/m² keeps it legible under strong light. It is transmissive with 16.7M colours, an ST7282A driver and an ALL viewing direction, so mounting can be decided mechanically. A full frame is only 120 KB, so most microcontrollers need no external RAM. Rated -20 to +70°C.
