The VXTA40CAH-01 is a 10.4-inch TFT in 4:3 — the format industrial and medical equipment has been built around for twenty years. Its active area of 211.2 x 158.4 mm is the standard 10.4-inch size, so it drops into a cutout originally cut for a panel of this class, and legacy software written for 800x600 does not letterbox.
